How research find new product niches to make money picking  reselling garage sale yard sale hunting 1 hot product to sell for big profits on eBay.

Alright guys, I have been putting out hot products to keep your eyes out for awhile now, but I want to take that a step further and help you find new products yourself.  Knowing how to research properly research things that are selling will help you make more money on eBay & Amazon.   As promised in my video, there is more information on the Super Soaker series at the end of this article.

Here is an eBay picker reseller tip - Do you research, dig deep, find gold.

Before we get started with the hot product, I would like to go over the thought process on how I even figured out that this item had value.   When it comes to finding stuff for resale on eBay or Amazon, it is important to do your research.   There are different forms of research but
I am going to go over a few different types and discuss why they are important, also keep reading to the end to learn what product I recently picked up which will open up a new avenue for making money on eBay

Research types

Direct research

  • Direct research means that you have already purchased an item for resale and you are trying to learn more about the item.   This type of research is usually done by searching google or eBay's completed listings.
Information to be gathered by this type of information:  Title keywords, price, background information, sale history and other useful information.

Indirect research

  • Indirect research is one of my favorite types of research.  It results when you are doing direct research on another product and you stumble across other items that are selling on eBay and other sites.
  • This is by far my favorite type of research because it can open open up door for new type of items to look for which means new niches to make you money.
Information that can be gathered by this type of information:  New products and entire niches to profit off of, information on what not to buy, all the other information that direct research can give you.

You never know what new piece of information you are going to find while researching.   You could stumble across information worth pure gold.

Field research

  • When you are out in the field picking / hunting at garage sales, thrift stores or even retail stores for items to re-sale, you will probably come across things that you may wonder if they could sell on eBay.
  • When something is telling you to stop and check something out, you should always do it.  This is where a smart phone comes in handy.  If you don't have a smart phone, hopefully you can do a reachback to someone and ask them to look the item up.  If you cannot, I recommend having a notepad and pen with you so you can jot down the item so you can research it late.
  • If you are an experienced re-seller and the price is low you can always take the chance and make the purchase, but I cannot recommend that for new sellers that do not have a lot of capital as new sellers need to make educated purchases, not blind shots in the dark to ensure that you are building a proper reseller foundation.

Super Soaker CPS 2000

Sell Super Soakers for big money on eBay.

Alright folks, I have done all of the footwork for this great piece of information pertaining to one great product you can make some awesome profit.    When you click here and view the highest sold completed listings for the Super Soaker series, you will quickly notice that there is a TON of green as well as some large dollar signs.

Super Soakers are awesome for the slower summer months and I suspect they will also be good nostalgia sellers at Christmas ( I remember getting one for Christmas ).

The Super Soaker I am holding in the picture is the Super Soaker CPS 2000, click here to see what my $8.00  investment should bring on eBay.   Key note is that this gun still has the original packaging which should add even more to the value.

Why I like super soakers.

  • People do not realize they are collectible so you can find them cheap.
  • They are easy to test since they are pressurizable and require no batteries.
  • eBays completed listings show a high demand during summer months when sales are slow.
  • High demand during Christmas.
  • Easy to recognize.
  • Not too hard to ship ( unless you have a CPS 2000 like mine )

That is all for now, remember to check out my google plus profile for new items I have recently sold as well as join my picker community to learn even more.
